Isle of Wight bloodhounds

A little back story to how bloodhounds made it back to the island!

After not having bloodhounds on our beautiful island for a few years it felt there was a gap to fill. The idea of bringing bloodhounds back to the island started after a few too many drinks one late night! A drunk idea was all it was for many many months, until we finally made the decision to run with the dream we had only had in conversations to a select few. The dream all became a reality when we booked the ferry to go get our first 4 couple of hounds in June 2025. With a lot of hard work, a few more hounds, a few new horses and a great team we are now formed and established pack half way through our first season going into 2026.
